The rules AREV operates under, who may record an inspection, and who is responsible for what.
The AREV service, available at https://arev.app, is operated by MMXXV Labs s.r.o., Company ID No. (IČO) 11945320, VAT ID (DIČ) CZ11945320, registered office at Hasičská 930/53, Hrabůvka, 700 30 Ostrava, entered in the Commercial Register maintained by the Regional Court in Ostrava, Section C, Insert 87316 (hereinafter the "operator").
Contact e-mail for everything related to the service, including the exercise of rights under these terms: info@arev.app.
AREV is the name of the service, not the operator's registered business name. These terms govern the relationship between the operator and the user of the service.
AREV is an online register of technical equipment and inspection records. The customer uses it to keep track of its equipment and inspection history, the inspection technician records inspections they have carried out themselves, and an e-shop can hand over products it has sold into it.
AREV is not an inspection body. It does not carry out inspections, does not assess the technical condition of equipment and issues no expert opinion. An inspection is always carried out by a specific inspection technician, who is responsible for it.
A record in AREV does not replace the obligations that the operator of the equipment has under legal regulations and the manufacturer's accompanying documentation - in particular under Czech Government Regulation No. 378/2001 Coll., laying down detailed requirements for the safe operation and use of machinery and technical equipment. Responsibility for the equipment being inspected and used safely remains with its operator.
The service is under development. Some features are marked as upcoming or experimental and their behaviour may change.
Using the service requires an account. By registering and agreeing to these terms, a contract for the provision of the service for an indefinite period arises between the user and the operator.
An inspection technician registers themselves and can start working immediately. Until the operator verifies their certificate, their inspections are recorded as unverified. Verification is carried out by the operator based on the proof of professional qualification uploaded by the technician, and the operator may refuse it or later withdraw it if the document is invalid or does not correspond to reality.
This is the fundamental rule of the whole service: only an inspection technician may issue or amend an official inspection in AREV. The customer does not interfere with an inspection - they keep their own register and may enter historical inspections into it, which the system marks as unverified.
This rule is not just a promise in these terms - it is technically enforced at the database level. The application cannot bypass it.
The operator's administrator manages accounts, verifies technicians and handles operational support. They do not see individual companies' equipment registers.
Breach of these obligations entitles the operator to restrict or terminate access, even without prior notice, if there is a risk of damage.
Data that the user enters into AREV remains theirs. The operator does not publish it, does not sell it and does not use it for any purpose other than operating the service.
The user grants the operator authorisation to store, display, process and issue this data in the form of documents and printed outputs - i.e. to the extent necessary for the service to function.
By scanning the QR code on the label, anyone can verify the validity of a specific inspection without logging in. Only the item's identification, the inspection result and validity, the name of the equipment's operator, and the name and certificate number of the technician who issued it are shown publicly. The rest of the register remains hidden.
The user can print or save their data from the application at any time. A machine-readable data export can be requested at the contact e-mail.
Keeping the register is currently free of charge. The operator is preparing paid register packages and brokering inspection orders for a commission. Until these are launched, nothing is charged.
The operator will announce prices and any changes to them in advance, at least 30 days ahead, by e-mail or in the application. Anyone who disagrees with a change may terminate the contract by cancelling their account before it takes effect.
Charging for the service will never affect access to already recorded inspections and the register - the customer's data will not remain locked behind a paywall.
The operator strives for continuous operation but does not guarantee it. The service may be unavailable due to maintenance, updates or an outage on the part of infrastructure providers.
The operator will announce planned outages in advance, where circumstances allow. It provides no compensation for unavailability until a paid tier of service with different terms has been agreed.
The inspection technician who issued an inspection is responsible for its content. Whoever keeps a register is responsible for its accuracy. The operator does not review the content and does not guarantee its accuracy or completeness, nor that the equipment is actually in good condition.
The operator is not liable for the consequences of decisions that a user or third party makes based on data in AREV, nor for the conduct of public authorities towards the user.
In relations with business users, the operator's liability for damages is limited to the amount the user has paid for the service over the past 12 months. This does not apply to damage caused intentionally or by gross negligence, or to harm to a person's fundamental rights.
The user can terminate the contract at any time by cancelling their account - simply request this at the contact e-mail.
The operator may terminate the contract with one month's notice, or immediately in the event of a serious breach of these terms. If the service as a whole were to be discontinued, the operator would inform users at least three months in advance so they have time to retrieve their data.
What happens to data after an account is cancelled and how long it is retained is described in the Privacy Policy.
The operator may change these terms, in particular when extending the service or in response to changes in legal regulations. It will announce a change at least 30 days in advance by e-mail or in the application and state the effective date of the new version.
If the user does not agree with the change, they may cancel their account by the effective date. Continuing to use the service after that date constitutes acceptance of the change.
The relationship is governed by Czech law, in particular the Civil Code. Czech courts have jurisdiction over disputes, according to the operator's registered office.
The service is intended for business users. If it is nevertheless used by a consumer, they have the right to out-of-court dispute resolution before the Czech Trade Inspection Authority (Česká obchodní inspekce, coi.cz).
This is version 1.0, effective from 9. 9. 2026. It replaces all previous versions.
