AREV for online stores selling technical equipment

From your online store
straight into AREV.

Arrange the electronic transfer of sold-equipment data and documentation from your online store to AREV. Customers receive what they need to add the equipment to their records, while you reduce repeated requests for documents.

Partnership integrations are arranged individually.

‘Please send me the instructions and declaration again.’

Every document search creates more work for customer support.

From online store to equipment records.
Together with the documents.

We will design an integration that transfers the sold product’s identification, instructions and declaration of conformity to AREV. Customers can then find them in their equipment records and build on this foundation with inspection records. We will agree the scope of the transferred data and the handover process with your online store.

Proposed partnership; the specific integration will be validated in a pilot.

The scope and availability of the integration are agreed individually.

Less time sending documents.
More value for customers.

We are preparing electronic data transfers with individual online stores. Each integration and its launch are agreed separately.

‘We send the same document to the customer repeatedly.’

Documents linked to the purchased product.

The aim of transferring documents to AREV is for customers to find the instructions and declaration of conformity with the product instead of requesting them again by email.

‘After the sale, we don’t know how the customer records the item.’

Make equipment registration easier for customers.

Data transferred from the online store provides the foundation for the customer’s equipment records. They can then add future inspections to the same record.

‘Every system holds different data.’

Let’s start with one specific data flow.

First, we review the product data and documents. Only then do we define the pilot and technical integration.

What we clarify first.

  • Which products and documents you want to transfer.
  • How you manage them today and what data is available.
  • How customers will receive the data and how we will verify the pilot.

Documentation and 2027

Digital delivery
is backed by EU rules.

From 20 January 2027 EU Regulation 2023/1230 on machinery will apply. For products within its scope, it permits digital instructions under specified conditions and allows the EU declaration of conformity to be provided via a web address or machine-readable code.

Instructions must be downloadable, printable and capable of being saved, and must remain available online for the expected lifetime of the product and for at least ten years after it is placed on the market. If requested at the time of purchase, the manufacturer must provide paper instructions free of charge within one month; essential safety information for non-professional users must remain on paper.

This concerns documentation accompanying the product. It does not constitute a new general authorisation for digital inspection reports. EU Regulation: Article 10(7)–(8) and Article 54
